Memo to Sponsors
TOCIFT is supported by 202 companies and individuals. All participants must be employed by, or work with, companies that support the energy industry.
Held annually in Matagorda, Texas, the event is centrally located at the Port of Bay City’s Matagorda Harbor. It begins on a Thursday evening during the third week of July and ends with a live auction on the following Saturday night. Registration starts early Thursday afternoon. Check in, registration, entry corrections, and changes may be accomplished any time the tent is open Thursday through Saturday afternoon.
The focus during our 3 day event is fishing, having fun, and raising money while enjoying the company of others in our industry. Food and refreshments abound each day of the tournament. Door prizes are given every evening. Silent auction and raffle items are available until the live auction begins Saturday night. After the live auction, the winning raffle ticket for a new boat, motor, and trailer is pulled. The festivities conclude when yet another boat, motor, and trailer is given to some lucky entrant in the crowd of fishermen.
The Board of Directors and all the entities receiving funds from TOCIFT wish to offer our sincere thanks to the sponsors, companies and individuals supporting this endeavor. We have generated a large sum of money each year which is distributed to 501C3 charities throughout Texas. As a result of your efforts, TOCIFT has been able to fund new research in the battle to cure the life threatening diseases, build new facilities enabling handicapped and mentally challenged individuals a place to work and learn to help themselves, and contribute toward the treatment of children with crippling physical abnormalities and those disfigured by fire. Disenfranchised children are also being housed and cared for as a result of your donations. Women’s shelters receive funds, abused children get needed support, less fortunate youths receive funds to continue their education, and a host of other community endeavors aimed at assisting the less fortunate are receiving funds with which to continue their efforts.
Your support helped us surpass expectations. We salute you for a job extremely well done and look forward to continuing this effort with you.
Sincerely,
TOCIFT Board of Directors
